Education and Care

Bearwood College offers high quality education and care to children aged from 3 months to 18 years through our Nursery, Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior Departments.  With day pupils throughout the College and boarders from age 11 to 18, we are proud to engage each child in a wide range of experiences both in and beyond the classroom. As the only co-educational day and boarding ‘through school’ within a 15 miles radius, Bearwood College uniquely provides a stable yet evolving learning environment to meet the ever-changing needs of your developing child. Your child will gain great confidence the College’s ethos, staff and facilities throughout their school career. Age-appropriate pastoral care at every level ensures that personal development is supported, protecting childhood for younger pupils whilst fostering maturity in the upper years.

Founded in 1827 and on our current site since 1921, Bearwood’s beautiful wooded 250 acre estate offers extensive facilities including its own theatre, swimming pool, chapel, woodlands and 50 acre lake. The splendid surroundings of the wider campus are enjoyed by children of all ages enabling them to explore, discover and learn in a safe and attractive setting.
