Sports
Bearwood College hires a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities for many sporting activities throughout the year. Our convenient semi-rural location offers easy access to the M4 corridor, Heathrow airport and the national rail network, making it easy to reach Bearwood College. There is plentiful free car parking on site for both sporting participants and their supporters, including space for coaches. We will be pleased to arrange catering for half-time or post-match meals through our in-house caterers.
Pitches
The following pitches are available for hire with away and home changing facilities and showers.
- 2 Junior football pitches available from Jan – April and from Sept – Dec. Pitch size = 60 x 40 metres.
- 2 Senior football pitches available from Jan – April and from Sept – Dec. Pitch size = 100 x 65 metres.
- 3 cricket pitches available all year together with purpose built Cricket pavilion

Gymnasium
A great 37 metre x 12 metre space for kick boxing, martial arts, cricket net practice, cheerleading, football training, aerobics or many other indoor sporting pursuits. We welcome you bringing your own equipment on site.
Swimming Pool
At 25 metres x 9 metres, with dedicated single sex changing facilities, the Bearwood College indoor heated swimming pool has a graduated floor with a depth of 1 metre at the shallow end and 3 metres at the deep end. The pool provides an excellent venue for lessons in swimming, canoeing, diving, aqua aerobics and for pool parties.
Tennis Court
4 outdoor tennis courts for hire within the College grounds all year round. Great for regular lessons or intensive tennis summer schools for both children and adults. Or simply a casual game of singles or doubles with friends.
Climbing Wall
Our 25 foot high outdoor absailing tower accommodates 2 climbers at a time and offers belaying points top and bottom for safety. Accessed by a staircase and with a platform at the top, this rig is available to hire to groups accompanied by a qualified climbing instructor or to individuals with their own climbing qualifications. An indoor climbing wall is currently under construction and will be available for hire shortly.
Rifle Range
Safety is the highest priority at our dedicated rifle range. This facility is only available for hire to licensed groups. Further details are available from the Events & Letting Manager on 0118 974 8321 or emailevents@bearwoodcollege.co.uk

The following facilities are available for hire between April and July.
- 400 metre track
- Discus area

- Long and triple jump
Grounds
Route your cross country races and fun runs through the 250 acres of Bearwood’s spectacular grounds including many wooded areas, well-kept playing fields and the 50 acre lake. Changing facilities, including showers, can be made available if required as can catering for the event.
Theatre
Our theatre is a popular venue for dance lessons, performances and examinations in a wide range of dance genres including ballet, modern, jazz and tap. The theatre has also proven a popular venue for trophy presentations for a range of various sporting leagues and competitions.
