The children and staff of the Nursery were delighted to receive a letter from Buckingham Palace and a card celebrating the Diamond Jubilee with images of the Queen taken during her 60 year reign.

The royal thank you was sent to the children following receipt of their pictures and messages which were forwarded to Her Majesty by Nursery Manager, Lorraine Beamish.

"We are so pleased," commented Lorraine, "It's lovely to receive this letter. It makes the children feel valued and special for all of the effort they put into their work for the Queen."
