The Young Enterprise 6th Form scholars put on a great Halloween themed event for the 1st and 2nd Form scholars. It was not just a disco but thanks to the imagination and drive of the Young Enterprise group, it turned out to be quite a spooktacular evening.

Small groups of Jellicoe, Drake and Grenville boys and girls were lead by a masked and silent YE Managing Director, and his sidekick, ‘the undertaker’ into a labyrinth of dark wonders only to be sidled up to by zombies and demons. One of the spooks said his experience of watching scary movies helped him in his role as mummified thingy and in applying theatrical paint to his YE comrades. As they passed the chamber of torture a coffin lid suddenly creaked open and a body tried to rise. The chamber also featured a ghastly (but entertaining) operating table.

There were also happy screams from dance troops in the Sierra Club above the drama studio's dungeon as they battled it out for best disco dance. Behind the tables, were sales of snacks and soft drink; much needed refreshment after all the screaming!
