Admissions
- To accommodate the needs of the children and their families as far as possible, we are flexible about attendance patterns. When places are offered, it is in consultation with parents and caregivers so that other family constraints and activities are taken into consideration.
- Children under 3 are required to attend nursery for a minimum of one full day per week.
- Funded children in the Foundation Stage Unit may attend on a sessional basis, in accordance with the LEA funding regulations.
- We welcome all children from the local community, regardless of culture, ethnicity, religion, social group, family organisation or disability. The parents or caregivers of the children are all equally welcomed into the nursery and their experience and expertise are valued by staff. The nursery premises are reasonably accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
- A waiting list is operated. Entry on to the waiting list is by registration. Priority is given to siblings. Special consideration is given to children referred by outside agencies.
- Once you are registered with the nursery and have a place on the waiting list, we will hold your place open for a maximum of 2 months before your requested starting date.
