Pastoral Care
Starting the Day
Each day begins with a school assembly. Much emphasis is placed on encouraging a caring and understanding attitude to others. The songs and prayers used have a broadly Christian theme but the stories, designed to provoke both thought and discussion, are derived from a wide range of sources.
Healthy Eating
A morning snack (milk or water with fruit) and lunch are provided. Lunch is taken in the main school dining room where there is a wide choice to satisfy all tastes. Members of staff sit with the children to encourage not only good table manners but also balanced, healthy eating habits.
Holidays
The Pre-Prep is closed on Bank Holidays. Holiday Club is available during school holidays.
Wrap Around Care
At Bearwood we appreciate that busy parents need flexible, quality childcare arrangements on which they can rely. We offer care and activities from 8am (Early Risers Club) through until 6pm (After School Club) for 36 weeks of the academic year. Holiday Club is available through an outside organisation.
