Aims & Ethos
Through the medium of small class sizes and low teaching ratios we aim to offer a supportive and friendly environment for children as they embark on the first formal stage of their education (Key Stage 1). We welcome all children regardless of gender, race or religion and offer them a personalised learning programme in order to maximise individual attainment and meet our high expectations of the individual’s development.
We offer parents the chance to integrate children in to the College prior to Key Stage 1 (in Bearwood Nursery) and for their children to remain at Bearwood College for the remainder of their primary and secondary education. We do this secure in the knowledge that they are in a wonderful environment with plenty of fresh air and attractive grounds in which to expend their energy.
To assist parents we offer the option of care, both before and after school and during the holidays. We understand the pressure on parents and are here to support their needs. We welcome parents to the College and will keep them informed on their child’s progress as the aim is to create a genuine partnership and to develop a community.
