Welcome to the Prep School
Bearwood College Prep School offers a vibrant educational setting. With small class sizes, your child will be educated as an individual and not lost in the crowd. Your child is unique, with unique skills, talents, needs and ambitions. We are equipped to provide individualised learning experiences that ensure an holistic approach to your child’s development.
We maintain sound educational practices and pride ourselves on the effective teaching of the traditional basics. We also embrace change and are keen to equip our pupils with modern skills, such as ICT, along with the ability to be creative, cooperative and analytical learners. Lessons are exciting and engaging. Multi-sensory teaching and an awareness of individual learning styles provide rich learning experiences. Our children are motivated, confident and reflective which makes them both interested and interesting.
At Bearwood there is a clear sense of progression. As children develop they become increasingly aware of our strong sense of community. Through this, they learn the values of politeness, thoughtfulness, responsibility and empathy that we hold as central. They learn to take pride in all that they do. They discover their independence. They respect their environment. They appreciate the importance of self-discipline and honesty. They are young people we are proud to be working with and will be proud of in the future.
Opened in September 2007, the Prep School educates children in Years 3 to 6.
