Admissions

Entry to the College is normally at the age of 11 or 13 years or as a Sixth Form entrant. We are of course aware that factors beyond parents’ control sometimes dictate that their son or daughter would wish to join us at other ages and such applications are considered on an individual basis.

The procedure for entry is two-fold. Firstly a confidential report is sought by Bearwood from the pupil’s current school. Secondly every prospective pupil has an interview with the Headmaster. Sixth Form pupils generally need a minimum of 5 GCSE subjects including Mathematics and English. An interview is also required with the Director of Studies.
