Cheerleading

Cheerleading develops athletic flexibility, team work, strength, dance skills and gymnastic ability within a fun performance environment.

It takes place throughout the year on Saturday mornings. During first activity the squad practise their cheering and dance moves and in the second session a more experienced group practise ‘stunting’.

The group perform for scholars and parents at events such as the Spring Spectacular and on Speech Day. They recently won the Senior Co-Ed Level 2 cup at FutureCheer’s Heart of England Competition, a national competition held in Loughborough.

The activity is open to boys and girls of all ages. No experience is necessary but coordination and timing are essential.
