Netball
Netball is a fast, skilful team game based on precision, timing and balance, agility and ball skill. Communication and team work play an important role.
Netball is taught and coached as a major sport within the PE and Games programme. It is compulsory for girls in key stage 3 and 4, and optional in the Sixth Form. Teams play local school fixtures, district and county tournaments.
Although College teams are highly competitive, other opportunities to play netball at Bearwood include social games played during an activity option.
