The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme
All pupils in the Fourth Form are encouraged to start the training for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at Bronze level, once they reach the age of 14. This is organised partly in conjunction with the Cadet Force who help with the training for the expedition section. Senior pupils in the College are encouraged to continue with both Silver and Gold awards. The scheme provides pupils with an ideal opportunity to develop their own skills, fitness and commitment to others whilst fostering self confidence and personal esteem.
