Sports
Everyone takes part in physical activities on at least two afternoons a week. Sports and games have the benefits of physical fitness, cardiovascular health, personal and team skills and recreation. They offer many opportunities to find a sense of achievement. Competitive spirit is nurtured through inter-school and inter-house fixtures. A number of our activities are also sporting in nature but are played in a recreational rather than a competitive spirit. In the junior years rugby, football and cricket are compulsory sports for boys and netball, hockey and rounders compulsory for girls. More choice is available to all pupils in the higher years. On-site sports on the extensive array of playing fields and facilities include the following:
- Rugby
- Sailing
- Sevens
- Soccer
- Softball
- Swimming
- Tennis
- Volleyball
