Theatre
Our theatre represents the very best that is available for the pursuit of music and dramatic arts. A busy programme of concerts, recitals and plays ensure that this 350 seat auditorium is continually in use. All pupils are expected to make a contribution to these productions, whether performers or as theatre technicians, lighting and sound engineers, stage crew and scenery builders. All have their part to play in the many productions.
In recent years these have included: Animal Farm; Twelfth Night; Macbeth; Confusions; Kes; The Wizard of Oz; The Little Shop of Horrors; The Happiest Days of Your Life; The Lion in Winter; Les Miserables; Julius Caesar.
Specialist tuition leading to LAMDA Speech and Drama grades and awards is available. These help to develop confidence and competence in acting, public speaking and general communication.
