Trips

Bearwood College is committed to a wide variety of excursions so that all our pupils can experience the wider world.

The opportunity to travel and experience first hand different cultures, languages, food etc, can only be a good thing when conducted within a safe and structured system.

Recent trips have included:

  • A group that took part in the World Hovercraft Championships in Germany
  • World Challenge expeditions to Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro, Morocco and Borneo – these expeditions need the scholars to plan their itinerary and raise funds for the trip – activities as important as the trip itself
  • Regular Skiing trips to Europe or the USA
  • Sports trips - Rugby Tour to Holland and Cricket / Rugby Tour to Barbados
  • Modern Language trips such as that undertaken with the 1st & 2nd Forms to France
  • History trips to the First World War battlefields of Belgium / France
